Terms of use
The basis on which rootnet.ai and everything on it are provided.

This is a website, not a product you can buy, so this page is short. It sets out the basis on which rootnet.ai and everything on it are provided. Please read it. If any of it does not work for you, please do not use the site.
Who runs this site
rootnet.ai is operated by FlareWare Solutions. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean FlareWare Solutions.
RootNet is a brand we operate. Myco is a product line under that brand. Neither of them is a separate company.

What this site is
This site describes work in progress. Myco is not generally available yet, and it is not something you can buy or download today.
Everything here about what Myco does, what it will do, and when, is our current thinking. It can change. Where something is planned rather than built, we say so at the point we say it, not in a footnote.
Nothing on this site is an offer, a contract, a promise of a feature, or advice you should act on. If you make a decision based on something you read here, that decision is yours.
What we do not promise
We try to keep the site accurate and available. We cannot promise either. The site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, free of errors, or fit for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss you suffer from using this site or from relying on anything in it. That includes lost profit, lost data and lost business.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit.
What you may and may not do
You are welcome to read the site, link to it, and quote from it with attribution.
Please do not:
- copy the site, or large parts of it, and publish it as your own
- use our name, our logo or our brand in a way that suggests we endorse you
- try to break into, disrupt or overload the site
- scrape it at a rate that affects other people
- remove or hide any copyright or licence notice
Who owns what
The content, design, code and branding of this site belong to us, or to the people we licensed them from. Copyright and other rights are reserved.
Parts of the site use work by other people under open licences. Those licences apply to that work, not these terms. You can read all of them here:
- /third-party-licenses.txt, which lists everything this site ships that we did not write, with the full licence text for each
- the licence for each typeface, unchanged and as published by its authors, at /fonts/anybody/OFL.txt, /fonts/schibsted-grotesk/OFL.txt and /fonts/martian-mono/OFL.txt
"RootNet" and "Myco" are names we use for our brand and our products.
Links to other sites
We link to other websites where they are useful, usually as sources for something we have said. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what is on them. A link is not an endorsement.
Changes
We can change what is on this page. If we do, we will change the date at the top of it, and the change takes effect only from the date we publish it. Changes are not retrospective. If a change is significant, we will say so on the page for at least 30 days.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Canada, and the Canadian courts are where a dispute about them is heard.
If you are a consumer, you can usually bring a claim in the courts of the country you live in, and the mandatory protections of that country's law still apply to you. A clause on a website does not take those away, and this one is not trying to.
